I'm so excited to be teaching 5th grade this year! This is my ninth year at Freedom Elementary! I grew up in Bullitt County and graduated from the University of Kentucky with my bachelors in Elementary Education. I received my Masters in Special Education and my Rank 1 in Literacy at the University of the Cumberlands. I love spending time outdoors and at the lake with my husband, Matt, and our sons Grayson and Grant. I am also a certified yoga teacher and teach at Omies Yoga Studio! About the Teacher
Hello families! My name is Olivia Rippy. This is my 14th year in education, and my 9th year at Freedom. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Spalding University, and I'm currently attaining my Master's from the University of the Cumberlands. I have three children, a bulldog, and I've been married to my husband for 22 years. My oldest is continuing his degree in Engineering at U of K this year as a sophomore. My middle child is a freshman at U of L, pursuing a degree in Graphic Design. My youngest is in 6th grade. I love hiking, cooking, spending time with my family, and being your math teacher! We live in Bullitt County, and I'm proud to be part of Bullitt County schools. I am happy to assist you in any way, and I look forward to working with you as a partner in your child's education. |
